Meredith Schasch – Mom, Wife, and Marketing Communications Specialist

As a former journalist I love to write, but as a current marketing specialist and busy mom, writing on topics I truly enjoy took a backseat for a little while. I have decided it is time to write for pleasure again which is why this blog was born. So welcome and follow along as I share insight into my life as as working mom passionate about organization, cooking, traveling, and motherhood.

I am a proud St. Louisan with southern roots. I still say ya’ll and love my southern cooking, but can kick back, relax, and watch the game while drinking a Budweiser too.

I grew up in Arkansas and transplanted to Missouri for college where I went to Mizzou for journalism (I know typical out of state response). At Mizzou I met my husband who in true St. Louis fashion convinced me to move to STL where I now call home and wouldn’t want it any other way. I made a career move out of broadcast journalism into marketing and currently work as a marketing and communications strategist. I am also working on my MBA and have a year and a half left until I am done.

Outside of work and school, you can find me coming up with home improvement projects, cooking new recipes, planning our next vacation with family or friends, watching the game (Mizzou, Blues, Chiefs, Cardinals—you name it), walking my dog, or loving on my baby girl. I became a first time mom in April of 2021 and it is the greatest gift I have ever received.
